Brule Sand Dunes
Multiple trails offer hikers, equestrians, and off-road vehicle enthusiasts a great view of the Rockies amidst miles of sand dunes. While hiking the trails, watch carefully for the old telegraph poles and the Grand Trunk Pacific Station buried in time from the ever-changing sand.
** Hwy 16, West of Hinton, 30 km, turn at Overlander lodge, park by Community hall, look for open field, trail starts here.

Orge Canyon
Ogre Canyon is a very beautiful sight to see. The canyon is a deeply carved cleft in the mountainside. At the base of the cliffs are many sinkholes created by underground streams. This attraction is situated west of Brule, tucked away in a small sliver of land between the first range of the Rocky Mountains and Brule Lake.
** Hwy 16, West of Hinton, 2 km, to Hwy 40 North, 5 km, sign - Brule 14 km, go past Brule to cattle gate and park.
