SPORTS TRADERS EQUIPMENT Sports Traders Grande Cache outdoor equipment rental program is designed to make wilderness activities that much more accessible. If you are new to an activity, whether it’s backpacking or kayaking, you don’t have to buy the equipment to try it. We’ll rent you quality gear at an affordable price. RENTAL EQUIPMENT AVAILABLE Camping: tents, sleeping pads, hiking backpacks Canoes and Kayaks: plastic recreational kayak, double kayak, fishing kayaks, canoes, 10' V boat with electric motor Bicycles: mountain bikes, jr. mountain bikes Snow Sports: skis, boots, poles, snowboards, snowboard boots, bindings, x-country skis, snowshoes RENTAL POLICIES AND PROCEDURES Payment: All rental charges must be paid in full at the time of pick-up, rentals must be secured with a credit card. Payment can be made with cash, debit card, visa, master card or a STGC gift certificate. Current , valid photo identification must be shown for all rentals. Credit Towards Purchase: One day rental fee may be deducted from the purchase of the same equipment within 30 days of the rental (proof of the rental required). This policy does not apply to sale items. Reservations: Reservations can be made up to one month in advance. Cancellations: Cancellations less than 48 hours before the scheduled pick up time are subject to a cancellation fee equal to the first day’s rate. Rental pick-up: Pick-up is anytime between 3pm and closing the day before; return anytime between store opening and 1pm the day after use. Late Return: Rentals returned late will be charged the first day’s rate for each day late. Damage/Dirty/Lost Policy: If rental equipment is returned in damaged or dirty condition, the renter will be responsible for cleaning and repair costs. Shop rate will be charged ($40.00/hr, $10.00 minimum), plus any parts and materials for cleaning or repair. Replacement cost for lost, stolen or destroyed rental equipment is full retail value.
