And then there's our guides
Besides being incredible charming, good-looking, and more fun than a barrel
full of monkeys, we are highly skilled on the rivers. All guides are licensed
for commercial rafting in accordance with the draft Federal Rafting Standards
of Canada and hold valid Swiftwater Rescue and First Aid Certification.
Each year, we spend weeks honing our skills and practicing rescues. Most
guides have post-secondary education in a tourism-related field, and are
professional career guides. They work with all types of groups, so put
your worries aside when you come - even the little ones will be charmed!
Special needs groups can be catered to, and we are aware that not everyone
is young and fit! At all times, we are dedicated to your safety and showing
you a great time!

Wild Blue Yonder is excellent training ground for guides serious about
their craft. We have a wide diversity of rivers, and many are technical
runs. Your river reading skills become very sharp, and response times
honed. On shore, we run a tight ship, with the many trips and packages
resulting in a dynamic fast-paced workday. For those interested in the
business side, we are seeking full-time booking staff, who also assist
with other parts of the operation. A mid-size company, the owners both
guide and promote a team atmosphere. We offer full training for juniors,
and continuing training for those with experience. Interested? Download
one of the following JOB POSTINGS below and send us a resume.
